Our Online option has been developed to help you take full advantage of your time and efforts while attending IADT Detroit. You have the opportunity to take some of your General Education Classes online. By completing some of your courses online, you may find that you can have flexibility in your overall educational plan.
The Online option at IADT Detroit does not require you to meet in real-time scheduled courses in a traditional, on-site classroom on campus. Instead, these courses are "virtual" and can be completed from any location – work or home – without physically attending classes. We have made earning your degree even easier with this flexible scheduling, minimizing travel time, and utilizing many of the same professional faculty you’ll meet in our classrooms. You’ll be able to interact on line with faculty and classmates.
Who can participate?
Students enrolled in a regular, full-time degree program at IADT Detroit may be eligible, depending on availability, to take coursework online through this option.
Your instructor is only an e-mail away and you have access to the online library, 24 hours a day, from anywhere. If you need technical support, call or e-mail, and people will respond who want you to succeed online – they’ll help you solve whatever access
or software or hardware problem may be preventing you from completing your assignments.
These online courses are the equivalent to courses that you take in a classroom at your campus. Coursework requirements are equal, and faculty is equally qualified.
