Academy Passionately Pink for Cure

International Academy of Design & Technology’s students, faculty, and staff pay to wear pink to help raise funds and awareness for breast cancer.

Troy, Mich . – Students, faculty, and staff at the International Academy of Design & Technology took part in the "Passionately Pink for the Cure" fundraiser for breast cancer research on Wednesday, October 17th. Participates made donations to wear pink on the designated "pink-day". At the end of the day, the Academy was able to raise $450 in proceeds for "Susan G. Komen for the Cure".

About the Academy

The International Academy of Design & Technology was originally founded in Chicago in 1977. The campus in Troy, Michigan was established in 2003 to help Michigan students develop their skills and abilities needed for success in the fields of design and technology. The Academy currently offers degree programs in Interior Design, Graphic Design, Game Design, Fashion Design, and Digital Media.

The career-oriented degree programs provide hands-on training and real-world insights, taught by industry professionals who work in the fields in which they teach. The International Academy of Design & Technology is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award associate and bachelor’s degrees.
